Fundraise through Ebay

Selling items on Ebay? You can select Operation Orphan to benefit from a percentage of the sale price.

It is really simple and the funds are transferred automatically to Operation Orphan. Also your listing will be marked as a 'For Charity' listing distinguishing it from normal sales.

 Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Login to www.ebay.co.uk, (register if you don't already have an eBay account) and on the Sell > Create Your Listing page in ebay, complete the required fields as usual.

  2. Scroll down to the 'Donate a percentage to charity' box and select ‘Operation Orphan'.  Doing this will denote the listing as an eBay for Charity listing.

  3. Select a percentage of the sale you would like to donate to Operation Orphan - from 10 to 100 per cent.  Then complete the rest of the listing and submit your sale. That's it!

NB: Donations received via the Ebay for Charity scheme are allocated to our general funds. It is not possible to earmark them for a particular appeal or project. Having general funds allows Operation Orphan to allocate money to the Poverty Relief part of our work. This means that in an emergency situation we have funds to draw from.
