We aim to include a mattress as part of every sleeping solution we provide for vulnerable children and families in the UK. This donation will help us purchase much-needed items such as mattresses, through our UK-based project Forget-Me-Notts.

Every week we receive referrals for families who are experiencing trauma and cannot afford to purchase essential items. In many cases, these children and the people caring for them do not have beds to sleep in. Sleep deprivation can damage physical and mental health, deplete attention and openness to learning, and negatively affect impulsivity and decision making. Your donation will enable us to provide some relief for these families and to let these children and carers know that they are not forgotten.

The item price is the average amount it costs us to buy this item new for one of our referrals. When you purchase this item through our shop, that amount minus a small payment processing fee will be received by us as a donation, and will be used to support our referrals in the UK.
