Smiley Charity Film Awards - Vote Now!

This time last year, a very talented and generous filmmaker Jade (@jadekvowles on Instagram!) donated her time to help us capture the behind-the-scenes of our bed poverty response. We are so grateful to Jade for creating such an amazing video, and being so generous with her time.

We can’t film the recipients (for obvious reasons) but we needed to find a way to let the public know about what we do. The only way we can continue to respond is because of generous donations - so getting the word out is essential for us.

Months later we learned about the Smiley Charity Film Awards and submitted our film to the competition! The Smiley Charity Film Awards are the world’s largest cause-based film campaign, recognised by BFI and IMDb. Through their campaigns they have generated 400 million film views, with an audience of over 3 million tuning in to their virtual events. We are so excited to take part this year.
