First Welsh School

We are so excited to announce the involvement of our first Welsh school. Cyrilyn, charity director, is especially excited to be working alongside fellow Welshies!

A couple of weeks ago I travelled to South Wales to collect (what I thought may only be a couple of bags) from Libanus Primary School. I was overwhelmed to find that my car was almost not big enough to fit everything in!

Thank you so much to all the children and staff who got involved with the collection for our Keep a Child Warm initiative. It was not only the volume of items, but the quality as well. There were hats, snow boots and ski jackets each of these items will directly impact a child in Romania or Hungary, who without them may well have struggled to survive the winter.

This initiative wouldn’t work without schools throughout the UK getting involved. If you are reading this and you have links with a school who could help with collections in 2014 please get in touch. Contact the charity on 08432 163838 or email Cyrilyn (cyrilyn@operation-orphan.org).
