Crisis Response - Cyclone Idai

The Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe has experienced unprecedented devastation from Cyclone Idai.

Hundreds are dead and many communities cut off where bridges and roads have been washed away. Entire areas have been completely wiped out and infrastructure destroyed in a country that is already struggling so much. The severity of the situation continues to worsen and the rain keeps coming. We will monitor the long term impact of this disaster and respond accordingly throughout the recovery.

Prior to our Crisis Response Team deploying, we had a large network of trustworthy partners in Zimbabwe who began responding. Through these amazing partners we have already identified children who have been orphaned by this disaster and we are sure to find many more. We will do all we can to help those we find and bring orphans to safety.

Last week Brad called the Zimbabwean Embassy and we were asked to formally offer our assistance to the disaster and the team will now deploy to Zimbabwe today. They are taking a supply of emergency shelters, medical supplies, some beautiful handmade blankets and Life Straw water filters to provide clean water for over 100 families.

THANK YOU to those of you who have already donated and please be reassured that your giving will make a huge difference.

Thanks to our fantastic corporate partners Danbro, Property Protector and The Media Collective we can guarantee 100% of your donation will be used to help the children.

Please donate to support the survivors of Cyclone Idai in Zimbabwe
