Our team have landed and have started helping our partners to purchase and distribute aid to those in need.

9th September 2026

The team in Nepal have been busy distributing aid, visiting families, and supporting those affected by the flood. They have also been connecting children orphaned by the disaster to trusted care structures in order to create safe and stable environments for them to grow up in.

Despite nationwide air travel disruption yesterday, another two team members are flying out today to join those already there and continue working with our partners there to make and keep more vulnerable children safe. We are incredibly grateful to Airlink for covering the cost of the team’s flights. As the team is made up of volunteers, and the flight costs are covered by Airlink, this means that your donations can be spent on taking care of the children and affected families.

As the team come to the end of this deployment, they have created a video reflecting on how they have helped to locate and make safe over 27 orphaned children, and formed connections for them to have longer term support following the flood.
