Remembering Philip Wandendeya

Last week we said goodbye to a very special man. Philip Wandendeya was the heart and vision behind Pencott Valley Primary School in Mbale Uganda & Helping Hands.

Philip and Margaret moved into what was then the Nabigyo slum, with a vision to build community and help as many people as possible and that’s exactly what they did. Philip leaves behind an incredible legacy with shoes simply too big to fill.

Our thoughts are with his whole family and the Nabigyo community at this time as we send our heartfelt condolences.
