What can you buy with £1220? 1220 Easter eggs!
We received a total of £1220 for our Easter appeal from our lovely supporters! The donations we received were used to buy additional Easter eggs for the local vulnerable children across the East Midlands.
This Easter, we received a large request of 3613 Easter eggs - 1165 Easter eggs were requested from social workers, whereas other care groups requested 2448 Easter eggs.
As social workers target the most vulnerable children, we ensure every social worker receives all of the Easter eggs they request. However, we cannot promise that all care groups will receive their Easter eggs as our supply is dependent on community donations. The Easter eggs we receive are gifts from the community and we ensure that everything goes towards supporting the children.
This year, we received a total of £1220 for our Easter appeal and the money raised was used to buy 1220 more Easter eggs. With the help of our financial donations, we were able to near closer to our target goal of 3613 Easter eggs, however, we did not have enough Easter eggs to supply everything. Therefore, this resulting in 586 Easter eggs being unfulfilled.
Nonetheless, we are so thrilled to have gathered around 3000 Easter eggs - this is the largest the need has every been and to have come so close to the end goal is a celebration in itself. Thank you to everyone who offered a helping hand and supported us with our Easter appeal. These gifts are truly special for the children as they act as a reminder that they are not forgotten.
