Jamaica: Keep a Child Learning Update

When a child’s life is positively impacted by a small gesture, hope and potential are released. Our team in Jamaica have sent this report only days after the pilot project ‘Keep a child Learning Jamaica’ began.

“I visited the school and after speaking to the headmaster gathered information about children who have not been attending school. Shanakay who is four years old has not attended school for a while because her parents could not afford uniform and shoes. I am delighted to report that because of your contributions… she is back in school. Melissa is a primary student. She was out of school because she didn’t have school shoes. I purchased a new pair of shoes and now she is back learning. Daniel, who too, is four years old was very happy to be going back to school in the uniform that we provided.
