Nepal Crisis Response
Our Crisis Response Team is mobilising and is going out to Nepal tomorrow.
The team’s flights are booked and they are ready to start working with our partners on the ground immediately. Once they land, they will be able to help to find orphaned and vulnerable children and work to keep them safe and ensure that they have a support network.
A team from ITV news came to find out more about what our Crisis Response Team will be doing once they arrive, and how preparation is going.
If you would like to support the team in helping keep vulnerable children safe, the best way to do so is by supporting financially. This empowers the team to operate in-country and buy essential items as the children’s needs become clearer. Thanks to our 100% promise, every penny that we receive from your donation will go directly towards providing the children with what they need. Following us on social media and sharing our posts within your networks is also a great way to help us to share the work we are doing and reach as many people as possible.
We are currently awaiting clearance to send an aid shipment which will join the team once they are out there. We have water filters, tents, rescue homes, and large handmade blankets packed, labelled, and ready to go, thanks to all of our volunteers and crafters who have donated and supported our work. We are so grateful for all of the support, allowing us to be ready to go in case of large-scale disasters such as this.
Keep an eye out for social media posts from the team as they give updates about the situation on the ground.
