Some Sad News!

You may have heard but this weekend our charity van was stolen from Long Eaton. If anyone knows anything or has seen it, please could you report to the police KT19 TYU.

This is the van we use to help local vulnerable families access beds (so the children don’t have to sleep on the floor or on unsuitable/unsafe alternatives). It’s the van we use to collect and deliver aid. It’s intentionally not sign written (for the dignity of our beneficiaries) making it an easier target for the thieves.

We have had to cancel our Forget-Me-Notts referrals for this week while we work out our next steps, which is really sad.

We’ve already had so much support from the community. Our Director of Communications, Cyrilyn, was invited to speak with Radio Nottingham this morning to discuss what’s happened. If you’d like to have a listen click the link below and listen from 1 hour 11 minutes in.

Please help us spread the word and hopefully we can track down our van and get on with our essential work.

If anyone has any information regarding this please do let us know! Equally, if would like to make a donation or have any suggestions to support us while we find a long-term solution please do get in touch.

Thank you so much!
