Every Easter, Forget-Me-Notts collects and distributes chocolate gifts across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lancashire to vulnerable children who may not otherwise receive one. We are so excited to announce that we are continuing the tradition.

This year we were requested a total of 4189 selection boxes from 14 different social care organisations and 15 other community groups.

With massive thanks to the cheerleaders of the University of Nottingham, we wrapped and packed over 1,000 selection boxes for our first set of distributions. We are so thankful for the continued partnership with the cheerleaders and all of their help with preparations for Christmas each year.

This Easter, we supplied a total of 3017 Easter eggs for local vulnerable children across the East Midlands. We were able to achieve this thanks to the help and support of our local community.

Although we deliver the selection boxes to social workers and care groups every Christmas, we do not get to see first-hand the children’s pure reactions when receiving the gifts. Thus, we have asked for some feedback to demonstrate how special these chocolate gifts are for the children.

This Christmas, we received a request of 3770 selection boxes to gift to our local vulnerable children. Thanks to everyone’s amazing contribution to support our appeal, we managed to fulfill every single request and gifted all 3770 chocolate goodies to different social workers and care groups to distribute to thousands of children across the East Midlands.

We received the request of 1085 selection boxes for our first distribution and thanks to all of your support, we have successfully supplied all 1085 chocolate gifts to give out to 1085 vulnerable kids! Woohoo!

Every Christmas we provide chocolatey gifts to children who are in care or known to the local care system. For many, this gift will be the only gift they receive this year. Our aim is to show these vulnerable children that they are not forgotten!
